Join SBI only if you are capable of doing customer business and sales. Because SBI is one of the best organisation in term of diversification, growth and leadership. Don't join SBI if your goal is Regulatory bodies. Because SBI is a type of job that need full focus and time. If you are thinking that with SBI job can manage study, family and work then it only build stress nothing else.

I left SBI JA this year to join as a PO in one of the PSBs & I can say so far I'm quite satisfied with life overall even though it's too early to say as I've only been here for 3 months, I got home posting with double salary, travelling is a issue though (mumbai locals) but apart from that I'm always happy with the fact that I'm no longer associated with SBI so choose wisely folks (if you have a choice to make)

@@shuvam4533 Well my postings in SBI were completely in rural areas, I've lived the life you are talking about for over an year and I can tell you it was overall much better to live there in comparison to Mumbai metro, the only reason I'm doing fine here is because I have my residence here. Also fyi I'm already scheduled to be posted in a rural branch from next month and I'm elated about that.

Didn't take the clerk exam...I'm pursuing PO and above opportunities in banking so I refrain from filling forms for clerk position, I do understand the practice of getting through test-taking environments but at the end of the day mocks are simply too many out there and it only would add to a hoard of applicants...serious candidates need more awareness and focus and I think this decision really helps me align my preparation better!!! I have seen ICT of people rejected who had to shift to some other circle because their family member had 3rd stage cancer. Even private banks grant ICT. Seems like no humanity left among the top managements in SBI

Respected Sir I'm in confusion please give your advice. I'm currently working as Track Maintainer in Indian Railways, it is very labour intense job but central government job. I was preparing for bank exams before joining this job i.e, 07.01.2023 and i joined this job. But I am in confusion whether to stay in this job and try for SSC CGL or attempt Departmental Exams in Railway itself or try for bank exams and join a bank. Basically advantages and disadvantages of Central Government job and Public Sector Bank job. Hope you reply.

not only in sbi but rrb is also one of those banks that is getting target I even as a clerk in rrb gets calls from regional office for today's target achievement and I am moving to sbi cuz I want growth there are different verticals in sbi not only just general banking if you work hard enough you can get into treasury departments where there is no public dealing yep in the first few years it will be hell in sbi but that doesn't mean you cant get through this, my father is in railways he refrained me to fill the form of rrb ntpc he said railways condition is bad he advised me to go for regulatory every job has pros and cons but you have to make some adjustment to get through this there is always a solution to every problem, instead of crying focus on the ways to solve this problem it will help more.

Their salary is around 50k per month...but in big cities the house rent is not less than 25k and in mumbai it goes beyond 30k even for non furnished 2bhk. That clerical staff will be left with only 20-25k for his expenses. Is it a wise decision to be a clerk in big cities..
