That's a wise observation..will pin it.. Here in SBI, DA is calculated by ---> Basic Pay(48480) + Special allowance(12847)+ Learning Allowance (850) .. Now if you calculate 19.83% of above summation it will be 12,330( Revised DA Amount )

A1] Yes. Even in a year, you will get two three notifications. For AM in the new notification, work experience is removed. A2] Practical knowledge is good. It's up to your understanding. A3] You will get to know things with time once you are in.

i think its better if every company just pay monthly salary to employees, instead of all these perks and reimbursement drama, why i will tell the company where i am travelling , what furniture i am buying, my house rent etc, i mean if every company does in this way, IT dept will also reduce tax rates any how one who wants to save taxes will do it anyway, it all some way of keeping an eye on employees. i mean if i am doing a job , i am getting paid for it, there is no other connection between me and company.

How can u add furniture allownce of 3840 as monthly alowance? It is capped to 1.8 lakh for 10 years and only 3 instances in entire career. If u take lease limit of 32500 as per Mumbai city then i can say ur petrol alowance in mumbai is very less compared to our bank because sbi gives only 65 litre (only if vehicle owned ) Our bank gives 140 litres (without owning a vehicle). So 75 litre excess we get monthly which is equal to 8000 rupees. And sbi gratuity etc are added in gross income and due to which salary is shown 17 lakh which wil attract income tax high slab. Income tax deduction shown in sbi slip (3.5k) is not actual. During return filing this employee have to pay the actual tax which wil be more than 15k per month. Inhand amount (after yearly tax deduction applied to monthly salary )would be around 80k only in sbi. Rest are in papers for tax liability.

Considering Mumbai > City as my location for JMGS-I, I have 1 question - As per chart, I can take a flat on rent of upto Rs. 34,000 per month and amount will be paid by SBI directly to flat owner. My concern is, say, I will take double sharing PG including food and assume, it costs me Rs. 18,000 per month and I do not want this amount to be paid by SBI to PG owner instead, I want entire eligible HRA amount (Rs. 34,000) credited in my account and later, I will be pay Rs. 18,000 to PG owner like how usually everyone pay rent everywhere in our society / country, and remaining amount 16k I will take in use for my other expense, saving or investment. My question is, Is it anyway / anyhow possible to have that amount (Rs. 34,000) credited in my account as salary. I know you said in video, if SBI will credit this amount in your account as salary then it will come under tax and I will have to pay tax, here say, I am okay, I will pay whatever the tax will levied, I do not see paying tax as problem over HRA, but all what I do not want is to unnecessarily spend entire Rs. 34,000 just for living even when I know I can manage in half. This question matters a lot to me because, I applied for Assistant Manager (Systems) JMGS-I and my written exam got clear on Dec. 26, 2024 and expected to have interview in this month. To be honest, my entire motivation towards getting / grabbing job in SBI suddenly came on floor the moment I saw the video segment about HRA. My friend recently (August, 2024) joined Infosys, Chandigarh on CTC 10.97 receiving Rs. 73,000 (approx.) in hand which he can use / spend / invest / save the way he want. And, here me, who will be having CTC 18.67 (as mentioned in Addendum) and receiving ... If you see my this message then, please answer. Thank You

Hi bro, 1. Please tell us the level of the exam. like is the written exam comparable to the GATE or easier than that? 2. If easier, how? like in terms of breadth? depth? or numerical length?. 3. Also, resources to prepare, please help as soon as possible as the exam is very near. 4. Only MCQ or MSQ and NAT? 5. Numericals asked or more theoretical? and straightforward or like GATE? 6. Having no certifications and relevant experience, can a candidate get selected if scores well in the exam? 7. If possible, can you please share your score and safe score in the exam(for no exp, no certifications). 8. Have you come across any people in your office till now, who have little to no experience and got selected? (It will really boost our confidence).

I heard there are various loan benefits for scale 1 officer in sbi, so can we avail those benefits in probation? 4.) Do we get any training or KT .. or we have to start our work from the first day only

This is a good question. Below are the answers 1- yes sbi provides everything 2- no bill required for any of 5 in 1 allowance 3- during probation we can't avail. 4- initial 1 month we all are usually free, but there won't be any training/kt as such

For SO we need to serve 4 years on that designation before being eligible to sit for promotional exam. Comparing SO growth with PO, yes SO growth is bit slower..

Yes there's difference between sbi salary and other public sector banks...allowance is the main difference creator. Rest Basic Pay and DA remains the same.
