If only you guys can only hear when he speak french..he's more like an intelligent poet but hey he's doing his best by cutting short turn in English, i see that it's taking away a bit of his ease but Anyway he is a great Director and basically Love the guy ..

I'm so curious about how he speaks in his mother tongue. Could you give us any sort of sense of what it's like? What do you mean by him being like a poet? Does he choose words very precisely? Or does his paint intricate images with them? I'm surprised no interview has yet asked what language the director and his star converse in. It's very interesting, surely Denis feels more comfortable with French, so does that allow him to have an even better raptor and connection with his lead? Or would that single Timothee out too much from the cast and crew?

Did Not read the book and glad the Film came out when it was going upwards for me. Even though I have to admit, that I have to rewatch it, as I cannot remember too much of it. ✌️👍

I noticed there was only one line that could have been taken out without sacrificing character, plot or world building. Tightest script I've ever watched.

I actually thought Jessica's character wasn't elevated in the movie. Almost everything of hers was there in the book, If said mentally instead of out loud. I think it was that every character had to be ruthlessly pruned to transfer from book to movie, and Jessica received less pruning than most of the male characters. That's a solid choice when her choices are so critical to the plot of Dune.
