Spencer, I started writing this right b4 your mower tried to eat a rock, I just wanted to say that mower is awesome. Its eating up that brush on the first munch. Looks like DR stands for "DANG" RUGGED!!! Quick question, if you take down the poison ivy with the weed eater instead of touching it with your hands how does it get on you? I've been wanting to ask you that ever since your first encounter with it where you were out of commission for a couple weeks. I'm glad she understood the word FREE, lol. If you and the other 4 mowers i watch put a post out all at the same time I'd watch yours first. You are the best, most thorough (you actually move outside stuff to now underneath it) mower I watch. I really hope that DR mower is yours and you aren't just borrowing it. It will cut your mowing in more than half!! OMG Spencer you made me cry when you gave her that gift!! GOD will bless you for your kindness.

@floofypurplefluff99242 жыл бұрын
@@KiemPlant So, you start off with “not to burst the bubble,” and then you do exactly that. Can I ask why you feel the need to do so? Not gonna lie, it’s just plain icky. You told all the other Kindergarteners there was no Santa, too, didn’t you? Anyone with half a brain realizes that in order for this man (and any other KZbin channel that donates services, products, or time - not just lawn care) has to cover his costs and feed his family first. Whether it’s a lawn care channel, a hoof trimming business or a cake decorating channel, each one hopes KZbin will help at least enough to offset some of the costs of their doing business so that they can give back far more than they could get to do said project. We don’t know if the hoof trimming business is able to take a day off hoof trimming to volunteer at a low cost vet clinic for large farm animals. We also may not know if the cake decorator chooses to donate five cakes a week to low income families instead of selling them at a profit. The difference is that some KZbin channels like SB Mowing come straight out and say what they are doing and how they’re able to do it. So the assumption that we’re somehow ignorant to the simple responsibilities and requirements of EVERYONE’s day-to-day living in order to be in a position to give back isn’t necessary and, truthfully, is nothing short of rude. Rather than eagerly concerning yourself with enlightening the rest of us simple folk about what’s going on behind the proverbial curtain of Oz, perhaps you ought to take a step back, give us all some credit, and give the Spencer’s of the world a pat on the back for busting their backs and equipment? Can YOU say YOU’VE done your share of giving back today?

The thing I love most about this channel is honesty. People sometimes just need a starting point, a standard to work to when things have gotten out of control. This is HUGE thing for people. I have been that kind of overwhelmed before, and it gives me a sense of relief every video I watch. Doing something you love for someone with zero money changing hands, and someone, somewhere will do the same for you in return.

Absolutely! I have let my yard get out of hand. It seems like any time I decided to set a day aside to make some real progress, either the weather doesn't cooperate, I run into car problems that take precedence, I end up spending a good chunk of the day trying to get my mower, weed eater, or chainsaw to run right, or somebody we haven't seen in months or years invites us out... And I have 5 acres, so to really get it cleaned up will take more than a weekend. I can mow it in 2-3 hours unless I let the grass get ridiculously tall, but the weeds that I eventually figure out are mostly maple trees, limbs that have fallen, I have at least 3 trees that are down that I have to cut up, etc all accumulates and gets overwhelming.
@captainpearly39942 жыл бұрын
@@dustintunis9347 I can relate to that. I only have one acre but certain times of the year , I have to mow by hand every four days. Oregon raines a lot and it's almost impossible to mow and not tear up the ground when its soaking wet. After four days grass and weeds are almost knee high and even dry its hard to mow. I get so overwhelmed I just wait to be rescued by one of my visiting sons. Last year he bought me a riding mower but it don't do well on tall grass. Should have bought me a weed wacker.

I would like to see the blade condition after that run if it really was brand new unit, this would tell much more, well as it looks that you need to push it on some points where there is less traction on the wheels, but sure it helps to have it pulling on its own. Also what kind of transmission design it has, since sure our driving mower dealt rocks, concrete, tree stumps and more, lasting years but then the bubs snapped and it would been very expensive to replace, but thankfully i pulled some favors and got them repaired well as reinforced so that wont happen again.
