Hi, V16 has different types of downloads available. So I'm not sure which one to download. Do I download the DVD_3.001/2/3/4/exe? When I downloaded the .exe, it's different from the one you showed. For .001, apparently winrar can't find it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

download all the files into one folder, then click the exe, exe file will connect all other files automatically to install the software program.

Hello my friend, when i put my hmi device i choose v17 version, but my HMI actually its v15 version, is it possible to change it either in my HMI device? or probable in my hmi program using tial portal? cause, im trying to change it in the tial portal but cant finde where.... the other option is to delete and create a new one with the same version, but i already did all my addressing so thats a lot of work.

As shown in the video, the HMI device will be download according to the version which was configured in the TIA Portal project.

Hi, Sir, I updated DVD3, but still has error to HMI, My HMI is 6AV2123-2GB03-0AX0, still have "Adaptation of target device failed error", it didn't have the wording said "Image error", I just don't know why, I asked Siemens technical support, he replied me said it is the computer version problem, I need downgrade my computer version to 21H1, mine is 22H2, I don't know how to next?

If it is still not working, you'd better change another laptop and use a new installed TIA.

Hi There thank you so much for your vidoes, you are doing great job. I have just a quick question Is touch panel version related to TIA Portal version? I mean I had similiar problem TP1200 its version is V16.0.0 and it is programmed TIA Portal V17. I opened it TIA Portal V19 and I cant download anymore I got the panel images error. In my case do i have to install TIA Portal V19 images to my tia portal and try to donwload HMI after that. Is this the right way to follow? Many Thanks

The actual version is not the TIA Portal version, it is the HMI hardware revision as shown at 2:30. You need to find the HMI image revision correlated to your HMI hardware configuration revision.

Sorry, unfortunately, Siemens HMI can not do upload and edit after. This design is used to protect the IP, but I know it makes engineering not convenient.

No, your image needs to match with your TIA revision. You can try to download your project by using TIA Portal V13, the firmware would be downloaded during the download progress. If the firmware can not be downloaded successfully (missing firmware as the same as the video shown), then you can install the image exe of V13.

The key image version came from the HMI version from the HW configuration as shown in the 2:13 in the video. It does not quite matter which TIA Portal V* you are using. The image files discussed in this video should match the HW configuration image revision.

@@electricalautomation I've solved this problem, in my confg tia portal HMI has V16.0.0 and in Panel when I check via OP the version of Panel is also V16.0.0. All of them are match and I can download the program without any problem. I can fit and overwrite the program. But on hmi panel I see always ###### everywhere. I couldn't solve this problem.
