No. You have to use the specific version of TIA in which the HMI project was made.

If you have the exact version and type of the software in which the HMI project was made, then yes it is possible. Also you must have no passwords or security locks on your HMI project. Note: The project on the HMI doesnt have to be an image version. If the downloaded file on HMI is an image file, then editing is not possible. only image upload would be possible via prosave.
