SC2 PvP Guide: Blink Stalker Macro

I've been looking for guides on macro PvP and this one is really nice. I have always built the pylon next to the opponent's gateways to see the first two gateway units, but it's interesting how you can do the same in his natural. Also, congrats for winning DH Masters Oceania!

Yeah the pylon change definitely happened because opponents would just always patrol their probes there. Next to gateways is good because you always see the units, but low ground ain't bad since it can block nexus vs adepts

Glad to see you making guides again.I really liked the spotting pylon underneath the main.I usually leave 3-4 stalkers in my main for deflecting potential prism harras , but the pylon is nice touch for sure. Really cool stuff.

Yeah leaving stalkers is nice, but at the highest levels you often really need them at the front, because, you know, mirror Matchup are tough :)

Thanks for the good content. May I ask when I see my opponent opens with 2 adepts first, and then I can be aggressive -> how aggressive can I be? Is it like a harass or I could try to straight up kill them?

Rallying Stalkers across the map can be very strong and if they misplay you will just beat them. But seeing 2 adepts doesn't make you want to all in your opponent any more than usual. They can still defend, and still lose to it.

When is a good time to switch to tempest disruptor?

Probably only if your opponent goes skytoss. I have played probably 1000 pvps in a row without building a tempest. No need to go so high tech, just kill them :) (although yes against skytoss turtle they're probably good once you take many bases)

Just a quick question: you saw stalker sentry first. Can't you skip the battery and instantly drop twilight forge ? Or is there still risk ?

Yeah more often than not you'll be fine, but it's PvP, so something can always happen. This game just showed the safest path. What you suggest is very reasonable. Although I would still get the shield battery (could slightly delay it)

You can change the interface under settings -> observing and interfaces ( or something like that haha). I can't remember what this one is called but maybe WCS 3.0?
