Showtime should have, imo, pushed further after taking down Serral main base. Serral got zero ground army at that time, and his air upgrade was non-existent. Blink Stalker underneath the Broodlord would help as well. Skytoss army is best when being used as a timing attack, before Zerg can get up all the tier 3 Tech and upgrade.

When did the triple Carrier attack at 7 minutes happen? Game 1 had no Carriers built. Game 2 had 2 Carriers attacking by the 8 min, 30 sec mark. Game 3 had no carriers built.

Almost impossible to do because the cannons and batteries can't move around. They sometimes to that but broodlords outrange them and the army needs to protect those at all times then, unlike spores that can just walk away if army comes to get them.

It was a great move but unfortunately he had already spended his bank with those wasted voidrays plus some. Serral had more than enough to max out, which is sad because Showtime had the better economy 90% of time till that incident.

@@verruckter360 Yeah, Serral actually ended up pulling something that is almost impossible: out-economy his opponent who has a bigger economy. He was so efficient with his trades throughout the entire game that despite having fewer bases mining, he equaled Showtime who in contrast was extremely aggressively spending his money on inefficient trading (they completely flipped the Zerg and Toss design philosophy).

It's like common knowledge and the meta of SC2 that Zergs expand faster because they need the money because they don't trade efficiently. But Serral trades efficiently against a late game golden death ball. He's the only zerg player who can do this consistently.

From someone who has never played SC2 in his life, using Zerg spellcasters seems so much easier and almost unavoidable as a protoss. Unless you are absolutely on point with high templars, you will get hit by the the spells.

The thing is that zerg kind of need to hit the late game army with spells from both casters, whereas at that point Protoss just need templar, and an oracle for revelation (also feedback has a longer range than any of the zerg spells). It's a very elegant dance at times
