Seems like 1 Raven would have saved Clem in the last game. Would have spotted those burrowed infestors, plus he could use anti-armor on the ultras.

I dont want to be rude, but lately it seems there is a lot of cuts in the games and we dont get to see much of early game. Even tho I understand the video is already very long, I personally feel like I am missing some build choices or context to the battles. Just a feedback - love your videos anyway

I recommend you go view the ESL KZbin channel as well, as they upload the full stream, by the nature of a highlights channel they only show interesting moments so only off meta or wild builds in the early game will be shown, also due to copyright I think it’s hard for more than a few clips to be chosen

I think the big difference in these games is serral is one of the few zergs to do a split of economy into corrupters. Clem seems unable to adapt to this split of investment into air and ground and is getting crushed.

He came through the winners/ upper bracket, whereas Clem came through the losers/ lower bracket (having been beaten by Serral earlier in the tournament)

They give one point to winner of the upper bracket. It's a double elimination tournament, but if the person who came from the upper bracket loses the finals, they've only lost once. So they do this to make up for it.

ZG and Wardi really lacking energy here. At best ZG should be covering the lower brackets where her informal chatty style fits, she just doesn't have sufficient game sense or experience for top level play. Wardi is a legend for his work supporting the scene, but he is not a first class commentator. You need players who have a deep understanding the meta and its implications. In addition to this you need genuine excitement. Maynarde, PiG, Rotti, Lowko or Winter all seem to be able to do this with every YT cast.

Give back some sc1's protoss spells. P seems too weak. Need maelstrom, arbiter's ice (what's the name haha), mind control but make it temporary, stackable storm. Sc1 protoss is too strong, but sc2 zerg is too strong.

Well serral gets an advantage since he’s coming from the upper bracket. He gets to be rewarded since he got to the finals without dropping a series in the playoffs. Other tournaments have had it so that you play a bo5 and if the lower bracket player wins he has to win another bo3. But yeah the idea that it should be a fair fight would make it so that losing a series is ok which doesn’t seem right to me.
