Little did I know, but I had scabies on and off for 18 months. I saw a dermatologist and despite checking me all over with his magnifying glass he did not diagnose the condition. I had very few rashes or bumps, but had intensive itching (particularly at night), occasionally sensitive skin when in the sun and often had goosebumps and chills. Strangely enough, the only thing that provided temporary relief from the itching was a very hot bath!? In the end, I took 2x treatments of Permethrin, 2x treatments of Ivermectin, but the game changer seemed to be 2x treatments of Malathion. In addition all clothes were changed daily, bagged up for 3x days or washed at high temperatures. All bedding was changed every other day - believe me this felt like some sort of super variant that made my life hell, so don't underestimate it!

My advice is if your scabies is not healing after u use the balm for human.. Use the one thats for animal...

I went to m doctor May 2023 and wasn’t believed that I felt som😢under my skin, my symptoms downplayed and images I’d taken of parasitic matter from my nasal cavity these were dismissed, I was sent to be evaluated for Delusional parasitises which I was found not to be suffering from. I’ve been denied treatment and through this I have now been found to have shadows on my lungs. I was diagnosed with scabies, infected everyone in house, my two cats got fry sick, my house infested with mites I went for my 2nd X-RAY on Friday apparently to look at the bottom of my lungs. Why are doctors so quick in saying a patient is delusional. It’s something I will never get over.

This is medical gaslighting and has a serious psychological effect tea tree oil for demodex and castor oil. It may be demodex mites and scabies. Do not consult with doctors.

@@ALH.Poppins it's called medical gaslighting and is extremely traumatic. Try a salt inhaler and castor oil inside and out. Tea tree oil in with castor oil.

I have since been diagnosed with parasitosis which is absolute rubbish. I have shadows on my lungs and was told it maybe nothing but to keep an eye on them. My skin is very bad, it seems to have two very tiny sores on my fingers that are very very painful. They weep clear fluid, and spread. My skin underneath is mottled, and one image I took the un death had minute worms that you can just about see with a magnifying glass. What is? I haven’t a clue

I used permethrin, ivermectin, Spinosad, tea tree, benzyl benzoate, bleach, vinegar, diatomaceous earth, and bags, boxes and carloads of other stuff for the rash to only come on worse.

I took my son to the doctor 4 times and they kept on saying it was an allergic reaction and nothing else, it was only the 4th time when they realised it was scabies and by then my sons whole body was covered and I got it, my wife, my toddler and my newborn may possibly get it and getting a hold of permethrin cream is hard and ivermectin isn’t licensed here in the UK I’ve had the 2 treatments as well as my family and a week later (today) my toddler has developed new bumps
