each time you kill him you can do a critical hit on his head makes it start with less hp each time

you forgot to mention when you do that he spams his thorn attack and holy attack so you can’t get up close

And the long range thorn swings it does when you're far away can be jumped over. It was much easier for my to avoid it like than than jumping. Also get some bleed resistance as the bleed damage from that boss is comparable to Mohg's.

Lighting spear works pretty well against it because of the short cast time. If you have more time to punish, Pests Threads can hit both the head and the body on the same cast for some hefty damage.

Thanks for this video! I was having a terrible time taking down this boss. Had no issues after - 1. Watching this video. 2. Not using a summon. Having the boss's attention divided between you and a summon makes the fight so much harder.

I used hammer anvil for fire damage. the boss is also susceptible to RoundUp...lol. it looks like a giant dandelion. I really didn't like this boss...thanks for the guide!

@@Azzavhar I had to use a mimic summon and fucked him up, the reason it was extra fucked for me was because its been like 2 years since I played, and forgot that my character is on new game plus 2 which is so much harder than normal it seems. kinda fucked myself, but still I rather it be hard than start over, I really like my collection.
