I got up at 03.10, as I remember, when I climbed it last year but only had a 3 hour drive to get there and what a cracking day you got to climb and camp, awesome weather! I did the exact same route as you, turning off the main path and climbing up through Mickledore, defo the hardest way but (imo) the best and quietest route to the top. Superb views from the summit and a very well deserved pint at the end! Very enjoyable watch, cheers Alan
