I appreciate the reviews of the EVZ. I also plan on buying a scag electric mower but am waiting for their commercial EVZ. What concerned me about this unit is lack of durability. You can't even (according to Scag), attach a trailer hitch. That tells me the drive motors aren't that strong.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not concerned with durability with this unit. The drives are the ZT-2800 drives from Hydro-Gear they output 300lb ft or torque each so 600 total. Way more than a v-twin. Not sure why SCAG says no hitch it may just be an abundance of caution or not to sacrifice range is my real bet. The mower has the power, it's a beast. Thanks for watching stay tuned for more.

Just watched your first video and now this, ha, quite a turn around. I like they are doing these, but I am waiting a generation or two until I go electric on my mower. Battery weed eater and blower is enough for now.

Thanks for commenting. As with any new tech there are issues. Mine has had a few minor glitches but all in all very solid. My tech said it was easy to figure out with the laptop and Hydro-Gear on the line.
