We have the 25HP Kubota 3 cylinder Liquid cooled Diesel version of this machine. Hands down one of the absolute best machines still built today. I love it! The liquid cooled, fuel injected Kawasaki should last between 5000-6000 hours with good maintenance. These machines are built to last for decades!

I hear so many bad things about vanguard. I have a 27 hp Kawi in my other mower n it’s okay but bogs on high grass. I’m looking at the 31 Kawi, I like the liquid cool but I’m seriously worried it’s still underpowered. I don’t know what engine to go with

How did you keep the discharge chute up vertically without the spring forcing it back down?

My new tiger cat 2 came with a block of wood that holds the flap up for shipping , so far i use that to prop it open , but i put a foot control grass flapper on my turf tiger (that just lost the motor at 4242 hours) , the grass flapper made the whole thing work ..that and the fuel mileage i got with that ech749 efi kohler , and my fuel mizer truck ..but they all wore out in about 8 years , 28,000 for the truck back then , 12 k plus the accessories so 14k for the mower ....cant touch it for that now ..not happy with the tiger cat 2 w/yamaha carb. motor , cant afford another turf tiger ..guess im bailing out on lawns ...cant get what i need to do it no more ..

@@MikeSmith-nu9wt Turf Tiger 2 with diesel is way up there price. I had a hard time spending that much for a mower, but so far, it’s doing great.

Turf tiger went into the shop , i was in a pinch with one mower , so i bought a tiger cat 2 , it aint no turf tiger i can tell you that , anybody wanta buy a brand new tiger cat 2 w/ yamaha , 3.8 hours , i get my turf tiger back today or tomorrow..

Mike are you missing the whine of the driveshaft??? He TT2 is a awesome machine. We did not buy one but when I get the giant property contract someday. I will!!!!
