Oh yeah, I've heard of that one! I even saw somebody make a 1:1 scale model of Mount Everest using it, and the slopes of snowy Minecraft blocks kept descending downward, and more downward, and more downward. It was crazy Maybe I should use that to build Uranus and all the others? It would be nearly impossible to see the whole planet at once, though!

If anyone wanted to recreate the solar system where the scale of the sun is as big as it can be (in mc): The scale would have to be 1:5440234.375 Here are the diameters of each of the planets to scale (2dp) (and also special bodies): Sun: 256.00 blocks Mercury: 0.90 blocks Venus: 2.22 blocks Earth: 2.34 blocks, The Moon: 0.64 blocks Mars: 1.25 blocks Jupiter: 25.70 blocks Saturn: 21.41 blocks Uranus: 9.32 blocks Neptune 9.05 blocks Pluto: 0.44 blocks (Not bothered to do anything else right now, do it with the ratio if you want)

You can use structure blocks to import custom structures into your world. Structure blocks read structure files, which are formatted in NBT. NBT is very similar to JSON and there are libraries for python that allow you to work using NBT. There is a limit to using structure blocks (they can only handle 32x32x32 areas iirc) but you can work around that by nesting structure blocks into structure files. Another approach would be using WorldEdit and loading schematic files, they are similar to structure files and aren't limited in size (and the formatting is also in NBT iirc) Something you might also want to look into is the //g command in WorldEdit. It allows you to select an area and then place blocks in it using equations. You can write functions using x,y and z variables that range from -1 to 1 depending on the location in your selected area. For example: "//g glass x^2+y^2+z^2
