That 1/72 F-35A by Tamiya is from Tamiya-made tooling and molds, and not an Italeri kit reboxed by Tamiya? Hopefully Tamiya include options for a JASDF version

Bryan, yes, this is a new tool kit, not a rebox. Due to some customs issues in Germany, many Tamiya items haven't arrived on time for the fair. 100% new tool by TAMIYA! All the best! D.

Well, the F-35A in 1/72 looks poor. I know this is not big scale but no rivets? F-16 has it and it is almost perfect kit. Why the F-35 kit is simplified? Funny, Italeri has ugly ram yhat is necesary to sand down, hasegawa is smooth as as hell (and no armament bay) and Tamiya is in the middle of them. BTW i bought Trumpeter F-35C and in this kit theres to manny rivets :D Even on wings :D

I dont think stealth aircraft has that much rivets showing on the surface to begin with. The wing on the actual aircraft itself its pretty smooth i can say this because i saw both A and B variant on an airshow last year

​ @Fish N Chips Yes Sir. Thats the pulp of Trumpeter and that's I will correct (neutralise rivets on wings). I download a lot of pictures and clips witc all the variants and im tottaly sure that F-35 has a lot of rivets :) (btw even F-22 got some :P ). Thanks for reply. Regards.
