Between your builds, your explanations and your growing business I cant help but roar my approval. What a fantastic business model...showing everyone exactly how you use the products you carry. The fact that the builds and techniques are front and center makes it so much sweeter. I wish there was someone like you in Canada. I would have no problem supporting their efforts.

....the nose area is tricky ( as Andy mentioned), but the worst thing about the kit are the instructions (on my earlier release)....best to download a later version from scalemates. Otherwise it's a great kit.

Thanks! If you don't mind me asking how you decide when to use sprue glue versus a putty for filling gaps? Wish I still lived in Somerset, your shop looks great.
@ScaleModelShed10 ай бұрын
Hi, i guess the main factor is how accessible the area is, sprue goo is self levelling as well, so makes clean up a little easier. Not great for filling larger gaps though as it tends to sink into them before it dries. A

Beautiful work! I do wonder why drop tanks and weapons are weathered so heavily on aircraft. Those things are brand new when installed and are only used once, so they shouldn't weather at all. Or am I missing something?
@foxbat2522 ай бұрын
Droptanks are usually reused. They can be jettisoned to get better aircraft performance in an emergency or in combat, but most of the time jettisoning is not required. Same is true for many types of weapons; they are carried just in case but not expended unless the mission requires it.

are there any decals for this F-18 paint scheme in 1:72?
@angelohernandez606010 ай бұрын
I just don't get modelers that wear gloves. I need to feel the kit. It seems whenever I've tried it I tend to drop parts and sometimes the kit more often. And grease from my hands doesn't really hinder the build. I have never had problems with finishes on a kit even though I don't wear gloves. So why?
@JasonMcChristian6 ай бұрын
When I started my own KZbin channel, I started with gloves because I was self-conscious about the fact that I bite my nails.

Great video, personally I find the music distracting and would be fine with just dead air if you’ve not got any actual modelling noise from what you’re doing. But that’s only a personal preference not a stylistic comment or critique 😺
@beano93438 ай бұрын
I laugh how everyone uses gloves cause you get less feel. But I see they are a benefit cause you don't get oil from your skin ruining a finish
