I recently found an invoice of me buying Band In A Box for the Mac back in 1990. Funny to see you use it today.

That was an amazing display of getting a bunch of disparate Vst's to play nice with each other, thank you.

Another great video, it is mind boggling, in a good way on how to use SCALER 2 with other VST, beautifully done. I can imagine throwing in the mix reMIDI, REALLY, TY....

Interesting to see you using band in a box as well. I was interested to see how you integrate BIAB into your setup. I'll post this on the pgmusic forum.

Awesome as always. You have an Impressive Collection of plugins. Just wondering if "Voice of Soul" and "NOIR" have an Equivalent in Native Instruments. Also loved the idea about the Tonne of Loops in Band-In-A-Box. Many Thanks For Sharing Your Knowledge.

Hi, Voices of Soul and Noir are very unique, I don't believe they have direct equivalents in NI but I may be wrong

@@41Fingers I'm trying to figure out how to use tools like Scaler and samplers to be musically interesting in my pop rock drum, bass, 2 guitars and piano tracks. Arrangement, I guess.

I came here for Scaler tips. Nice video. By the way, which Cubase version was this? Also, I notice you use Superior drum VST, what was your PC Ram size? I am thinking to buy a new PC or Mac but want to be as smooth what you hv shown in the video. Thanks in advance.

You have an interesting work flow. I think this in combination with isotope rx 8 splitting songs into steams and melodyn turning those steams into midi you can remix songs all day.

So when I saw "Jamming" in the title of this video, yeahhhhh, I'd assumed that the music would go into sustain 7ths, 9ths, even 11ths in chords, but I only heard a Bruce Hornsby & The Range-esque demo using Scaler VSTi. Well composed, but not "jamming" necessarily.
@mark35mi3 жыл бұрын
Great! Curious... do you know if Scaler will drive HARD SYNTHS with midi in/out using a DAW like LIVE? THanks!!!
@41Fingers3 жыл бұрын
Hi Mark, Good Question, I never tried that nor do I have Live but since all my vst's can receive the midi I don't see why that would not work some how. As long as your hard synths are set to receive midi. But I do not see a dedicated midi out button, so best to get more info on this.

You could create this song yourself much faster (w/o the scaler) but it would defeat the purpose of this video. Thanks
