The black bit of plastic clips onto the side of the track which connects with the lever on the side of the car when it drives past and activates the ejector seat

What comes to mind is when I was young and was taken on holiday to a holiday camp and I remember seeing a scalextrics set . I was years back with Austin healeys and maye an e type as well
