Subscriptions are the best way to get someone to spend their money without thinking about it. That’s why I stay away from them. So many kids these days can’t even tell you all the crap they’re subscribed to.

Very true - But we still need that. You pay Rent, Insurances, Electricity, .... all monthly. I really don't want to do this manually every month. A lot of work!

Not using Bitcoin is the same thing as a Bank, using lighting is the only decentralized and fast way to pay. All Altcoins are fiat just with a blockchain

Off-chain is kinda like banking, except you're the bank when you run your own node. If you don't want to run your own node, or have the technical skills to do it, you can just use a Zeus wallet on your phone. Zeus is an open-source lightning node that runs on your phone.
