How do you decide which lead gen clients will be successful given a client's testing budget. Is there a target number of clicks you aim for to validate a client's offer and the chance of success? For example $20 avg CPCs on industry keywords Client has 2K budget you will only get 100 clicks out of the test. How many clicks before you know if it's working on average.

CPC does not really matter if your landing page converts. The conversion rate of your landing page has a huge role when it comes to lead generation. E.g. if your landing page has a conversion rate of 20%. For every 100 clicks, you'll get 20 leads. So with a $20 cpc that's 20 leads for $2000 spent.

Hmm interesting! this is a big shift in my thinking - I do lead gen and optimise a bit differently and more strictly but I guess with such a large sales cycle and access to their CRM you can optimise a bit better based on that data you're getting. The few clients I'm working with don't have a CRM so tbh I'm more focused on adding negatives to get rid of irrelevant terms, and also call tracking to ensure we are generating calls and seeing which keywords generated calls.

Sean, how do you deal with the unregistered calls, there's a lot of times when my cleint's tell me that they are getting calls but google is not reporting them. I guess the customers are directly dialing the number, instead of clicking it

@@ubaidrazaq5962 Hmm yeah don't have a solution for that I'm afraid. I'm setting up Call Tracking Metrics currently, don't think that accounts for it as such? Although if you had a specific number you're using in your ads you know it definitely came from Google Ads - but yeah can't attribute to a particular keyword unfortunately I suppose

@johnmoran5680 Quick question: When using Broad match to reach a larger audience, do you group Broad match keywords into a separate ad group from Phrase and Exact match keywords? Additionally, when using Broad match, how do you ensure that the Ad Copy Titles and Landing Pages remain relevant to the user's search intent? For instance, if a user searches for "Storage Buildings" and the ad copy and landing page mention "Steel Building For Sale," how do you ensure the ad remains relevant to the user's search intent?

This video is higher level than i'm actually at, I understood 75% of what you were saying, but in a pure broad match campaign, do you check the search terms a few times per day at first to add negative keywords? My cleaning campaign has low search volume with only exact and phrase, so looking to add broad match... as long as I check for negative keywords every day, anything else i should do/look for?

Yes I grew google search leads volume by 7x in 45 days. The secret is having a huge negative list which is 5500+ exact negatives. Just building this list takes 15 to 30 days checking in search terms every 12 hours.
