I wholeheartedly agree. Personally, and I know a _not at all insignificant number of people here_ shared this feeling, I was kind of dreading the day Seth's live audience would be back, which was unfortunately only reinforced by Stephen Colbert's return to the live audience format, and John Oliver's being neither negative nor positive (again, just for me personally), but today's show literally *almost instantly evaporated that dread.* Seth is clearly an extraordinarily remarkable, one of a kind guy, who there simply is not replacement for. I mean the man pretty much singlehandedly _carried my sanity on his back_ through that extremely traumatizing first year of the pandemic (that wasn't hyperbole, and I'm not talking metaphorically-I mean my literal one and only sanity itself), and he didn't need to do any of it, as I'm sure taking care of the young ones at home, and his family life, were more than enough on his plate already. That's what really gets me. I don't know how he did it, and I don't know if I ever wIll, but I do know that he made all the difference in my own life, while everything began collapsing in around me, and I will truly, _TRULY_ be *eternally f#%king grateful for this man.* So seeing the way the audience reacted tonight, and then seeing how that reaction just TOTALLY lit Seth's face up like that, KNOWING everything we've been through since the last time there was an audience, well, honestly I think you just put it absolutely perfectly. It _was_ everything. It sincerely was *everything.*
