Scallop Stripes Stitch (+ Correction to Written Pattern)

This is a fun granny cluster scallop that gives gorgeous texture. This is a 4 row repeat pattern and the good news is there's a free written pattern available (link in description). Be sure to check the end of the video for some corrections because I discovered (after several froggings) that there was a mistake in it. xx

Lovely ❤. I'm making a few different scarfs and will make a blanket too using granny stitches, and moss stitches. I love how this has some wavy shapes and love the moss stitch or (single crochet) in between. Using variegated yarn and adding plain bright colours in between too. Thanks. This would make a beautiful pattern for a kimono or cardigan. I have made a few of my own design, but this might be more than I could do. Perhaps if I make a front and back panel straight, no decreases or increases. I’m going to save this and think about it. It’d be cute in red, white and blue for the 4 th!

May I ask where you purchased your stitch markers? I like how easy your markers are to use. I have two different kinds and they are not as easy to get in the stitches. I have a neuromuscular disorder and my hands are not real steady. You have to really struggle to get them open and get them in the stitch. Your stitch marker looks so simple and easy to use.

I got them at my local Michaels. I think they might even have them at Walmart but I’m sure there must be something similar on Amazon. 💕
