I was victim of a famous scam there in Delhi. Someone approached me claiming there was a big protest and the area my hotel was located was closed. I was brought to a fake “tourist office” where they tried to sell me other accommodations. They even faked a phone call with the hotel who confirmed they were closed! I had no internet so could not check if the protest was actually true. Shame on india. Had a much better experience in Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka etc

Recently, many Indians have traveled to China, and some of them behave very rudely. There are many videos on the Chinese Internet. For example, an Indian man took off his shoes on the high-speed rail and put his feet on the high-speed rail table. There was also an Indian woman who rode a bus without paying, stole other people's shared bicycles, and even ordered passers-by to give her a ride for free. SO horrible.

I got scammed in New Delhi Railway station and the scammer was right at the security check point. He asked me to produce my train ticket and then says the ticket is not confirmed and i have to get a new one or go back to the office in cannought place and get it confirmed. He almost got me and I was to the point of taking a ride back to cannought place and when i ask for the address he instead asked me to buy a ticket from him for the next train to Agra, then I felt a little suspicious and ran towards the ticket counter and showed my ticket to check if everything is okay and the guy told me all good and gave me the platform number I needed to board.. this made me so pissed and when I came back to the security check point again the scammer was gone as he knew he was scamming. what's appalling is that the real security team at the check point and the scammers are working together.

@@KenAbroadClips I hope that you are not lying. But honestly, I feel that shouldn't have happened, that metro network is operated by DMRC and it's a government entity and not a private one. It's not possible to get scammed here. Either it was your mistake, or the mistake was from the ticket counter guy. You should have at least checked the ticket once, because the ticket price is already written there, and you could have easily complained if you had any issue.

I think it was a miscommunication issue, to be honest. Delhi metro workers are paid well (for indian standards). The man said twenty ruppees, not 200. After he gave you the ticket, you immediately said thank you and left, as if you gave him a tip, without waiting enough for him to give you the change. The price is also on the ticket itself.
