This team seriously needs a competent legal advisor ... even though you are dealing with criminals, that does not mean you yourselves cannot commit a crime while genuinely working to expose them. For example, Art in this video is arguably attempting a blackmail/extortion/enslavement by telling the mule "You have to work for us or you are going to jail" Also potential intimidation/false imprisonment charges spring to mind, from the scene where you have the guy physically trapped in the corner and prevent him from leaving, while issuing fairly dire threats. I fully support your great work but please be more careful guys, and do not end up on the wrong side of the law.

@foobarrel90462 жыл бұрын
@@lookwithin This mule was not a helpless innocent who has been duped or blackmailed into flipping the scammer's packages. He was a willing & witting participant in the joint criminal enterprise and was well paid in cash he surely will never declare to IRS, so we can add tax evasion to his charge sheet of wire fraud and handling stolen property. There is no evidence he was in any financial difficulty and indeed most probably comes from a relatively rich family in India, else would not be sent to study in USA in the first place. There is no obligation by TM to help him and when caught red-handed he should certainly be hard pressed to cooperate and provide information to ensnare the bosses, but it should be done in a strictly legal way which will not boomerang on the TM team.

This one hit home because I knew they thought the guy was lying at first, but it's so true. I went on line looking for a part time job met a few people who said all they have to do was send me packages my job was to send it to some foreign country once they received it I will get paid. Their accent were off, it was too much noise in the background they were so unprofessional I knew it was a scam. I deleted and blocked them. keep up the great work you save his life and he saved someone else's life.

And that could be their funeral money. What they saved for their kids. As a parent to 4 kids who’s been scammed also, I find glee seeing the chain get broken. I do worry for legalities… I know they have to have lawyer that tells them to say we’re not police, you’re free to go. Caveat is what follows. Putting fear of all in the student is important to get him to learn his lesson. But I worry some lawyer will take these guys & try to sue trilogy. The lawyer will become the money scammer, give the guy like Sri the boot from US after he gets him to try to sue.
