@DodgyDaveGTX Жыл бұрын
I don't like the ones where he takes off the proverbial mask & reveals the ruse at the end though - kinda takes away the sting. It's like Lost final season where you wish you'd stopped watching at the end of the prior season rather than finding out "oh so they were dead all along? Guess it was already out of my control from the start" and lets them off the hook. Whereas no reveal = the scammer is left seething, desperate, and questioning their own decisions.

I love the ones where Kit stops playin around at the end and starts lecturing them on their life choices. Its so good. I cant even imagine how the scammer feels when they just get totally wrecked like that. They probably feel so embarrassed lol
@desperado3236 Жыл бұрын
In the moment maybe but i doubt they feel anything overall. Scammers arent exactly known for having a sense of morality. They just use whatever mental gymnastics they can to justify and continue the scamming.

@@Saranda4787 I don't know if it's true of Hindi or what language that may be their native language, but many languages use "the" in front of proper nouns and things like that much more than English does. Often things like that come into second languages from our native language without realizing it. For example that is why stereotypical Russian accents don't use "the" or "a" as much as a native English speaker ("I kill boar with bare hand" because Russia uses those words far less often, if at all. Or the stereotypical Chinese accent uses fewer plurals ("three day") because Chinese languages handle plurals differently than English. I'm very much a novice in all this, but it's a pattern I have noticed, that many of those quirks of stereotypical accents are carryovers of the grammars of their native language.

@@bricelory9534 In my Intro to Linguistics course my professor explained it like a series of computer folders. When learning to read, we learn to associate which sounds (phonemes) belong with each letter (morphemes). Then, when beginning to learn a second language, we import the sounds from our home language onto the morphemes of the new language, which is how we get accents. It's also why it is extremely difficult to learn a pronunciation that does not exist in your home language, such as the "L" sound for a native Chinese speaker, or the unaspirated "p" sound (distinct from the /b/ sound) for a native English speaker

What do I need to learn to do this. One of these bastards actually called an elderly family member of mine and if I wasn't there she would've probably been scammed. Do you code fake tech companies to lure them in? I wish we all had these skills. You are the best Kitboga💙
