Why is KZbin so afraid of their users exposing criminality? Scammers are obviously 100% wrong. KZbin also seems overly cautious in allowing the posting of videos using words like "kill," "rape," "murder," etc. in true crime videos. This information is freely available in many other sources (like news sites). There seems a lot of self-censorship on KZbin. They seem to be scared to represent reality. In the United States (don't know about legality in other countries), there's no real "expectation of privacy" in public -- so you can legally record other people in public, and it's very unlikely you'll face any repercussions from KZbin for uploading that. However, the guys at Scammer Payback aren't just recording people in public; they're getting private files and information from private electronic devices, then uploading that. If YT allows that sort of thing, then it would also have to allow it for everyone else, meaning anyone could find a way to get YOUR private information and just upload that for the whole world to see, without any consequences. Yeah, we all hate scammers, and we all want them exposed, but you also have to think about the consequences for privacy as a whole and how that can be exploited by scammers and other bad actors.

Jim Browning did a 4 part series on how he uncovered a huge scammer network, they were shut down, arrested, then released with zero consequences. There was a ton of evidence & they still let them go! Ugh I freaking love when it gets to the point where the realization hits that they messed up. In my spare time, I try and waste scam callers when they call my grandmother at home. I cosplay as a hacker , and live this alternative reality when I speak to them.... Only I have to wake up in the morning (like right now) and remember that I'm only a general contractor... Thank you for doing what you do. Sadly my 80 year old mom fell for a Spectrum scammer this week and we are currently in the process of switching her bank account, canceling her cards, etc. Luckily for her she wasn't taken for a huge amount of money, but still it was such a shock to learn she had fallen for this after I have warned her time and time again. I have been watching you for awhile now and I always warn her about calling numbers or answering these calls but she did when no one was home with her.

My mother in law just got scammed by these people.... They took over her computer changed her pin on her computer and password and now she can't even use her computer. These people are horrible!!!

Be very careful. Scammers start crawling out from under their rocks, offering to help you (or refer you to someone) recover accounts and money. They'll even pretend to be Scammer Payback.

If you haven't already, she needs to unplug her computer, file a police report, talk to her bank, and reinstall her computer. They may be able to get her money. Change all passwords as well, and enable 2 Factor authentication.

What kind of scam? File a police report, and if you have sent money, talk to your bank. Block the scammers, and do not talk with them anymore. Anyone else who claims they can help are scammers.

@@MarinesBlood I have not given money to anyone. My bank catches it every time, but I just changed banks and had to change my bank card almost right away. This keeps happening almost every time I try to make a purchase on the internet on sites that were always safe to me before. I called the police to file a report and they acted disinterested. They were useless.

Try changing devices and see if you have the same kind of security issues with new information? It's always best to shop directly through store apps, rather than through a browser. (imo) ✌🌸

They may not have jurisdiction over the scammers country, but they can work on trying to figure out who the scammer is, and work with the scammers local law enforcement to arrest and charge the scammer. It doesn't happen as often as we like since law enforcement has lots of red tape they must cut through, but it does happen. Plus the FBI will compile reports and the more evidence they have, the more pressure they can put on the local government to arrest the scammer. Plus It opens up more options and gives your claim more weight to your bank. Again. Filing a police report and a IC3 report with the FBI or your countries equivalent are very important steps.
