While these people are utterly unscrupulous and abominable, I think it's easy to get stuck in the trap of assuming everyone around the world needs a car. The woman Kit was portraying definitely shouldn't have been driving. Also, car ownership isn't the necessity for a lot of South Asians (primarily Indians, where these centres tend typically operate from) that it is for many Americans, but a luxury. I wouldn't assume they imagine they're stranding someone with no way of getting around. Not that I expect they'd care all that much if they *did* think that.

My brother has got a 2004 Honda NSX which he had parked in his back yard for 8 years untouched because he couldn't afford to insure it alongside his Discovery. In 2012 he got a better job and could afford to service and insure it and it started up first time as soon as he put fuel and a fresh battery in it.

I live in Montreal and I have had new immigrants tell me that they are surprised that they were not offered the job they wanted so they had to work in a store or drive a taxi, or wash dishes. Some of them are surprised that the waiting time at a hospital emergency is 4 h minimum. Sometimes, 12 h. There is some mismanagement at the government level and nurses and doctors leave and go to the USA for more money. Healthcare has always cost too much and taxes are sky high so the government cuts as much as possible. Some come here while pregnant, they give birth, don't pay the bill and they leave.

My dad got fucked over by a Microsoft tech support scam years back. He had a chrome book. I literally told him to hang up and disconnect his chrome book from his internet. He told me I was being paranoid and hung up. They got him for over a grand. Ended up being a huge headache as they had his bank info and continued to try and drain it.

When my mother retired she started to get a lot of calls and messages from scammers, thing is they have accurate information of her and are always offering amazing deals to solve past loans and offering new loans, i just told her "if you didn't go looking for these deals by yourself in the first place, refuse every single offer that comes to you via messages or calls", i also teach her what i know about technology to keep her updated despite her being 64 years old, she never has been scammed and stays sharp all the time. Take care of your elders and don't just help them when they have a problem with technology, teach them how to solve it and make them do it themselves while guiding them

My 95 Year old neighbor doesn't have credit or debit cards and uses private insurance instead of Medicare. She also has no computer ,The best part is She answers every call Her landline gets and Keeps them talking for quite a while .She has never heard of scam baiting and is a Natural!

It's hard to rate Kit's work, but the live stream from where this video came is close to the best for a a one-day bait. Amazingly, the editors were able to condense this action-packed stream to 20 minutes, without losing one iota of the substance. BRAVO. Greedy scammers reduced to their usual useless swearing.

Your grandma character is adorable! Reminds me of mine, she passed away, but she would have had a field day with scammers, pranking them and all that. My mom rambles on and on, but she was teacher before she retired, so she can talk for hours, scammers would go mad if they ever call her. Keep up the amazing work :)

Thanks to you I was able to recognize a scam when my coworker was on the phone the other day! It was the Amazon scam, I think if I had not been there and I had not watched your videos it could have ended very badly for her. She’s an elderly woman with 11 children and 27 grandchildren! She works 2 jobs to help out her huge family and she’s just the most amazing woman. I’m so grateful for your videos!!
