If you ever do go back and watch Scandal you will also see just how good a spoof this is of specific characters and actors on the show (they included lots of references to the main cast in a pretty short video). Of course on the show there are lots of new characters coming and going. None of them express any surprise or confusion when asked to do impossible tasks or when seeing other characters follow absurd instructions ridiculously quickly, pretty much always with complete success.

They really missed the most prominent aspect of every scandal episode. The longwinded, forceful, and fast speeches characters spiel off for dramatic effect, usually over some social or political issue. They are kind of impressive, until you hear one too many of them. Then it just sounds like overinflated melodrama, making a molehill into a mountain.

Totally agree. I especially like when she was in that Brooklyn bubble sketch after the election. OK, she doesn't have as much pizzazz as Leslie Jones does. But there should have been room for both.
