What, don't like keyboards in metal..? That seriously limits your metal band choises. IMHO nothing bad in that instrument. I have sometimes troubles in metal with flute, but generally the more and stranger instruments, the better. Definately add acoustic intruments into metal. Andromeda was the wife of Perseus, one of the biggest Greek mytholocal hero, and yeah of course she was a beauty. Enska (Ensiferum 's petname here in Finland) like so many metal bands, is campy, half serious doing nice music and the other half is making goofy things... and in folk metal's case cosplaying usually Iron Age. If you do more Ensiferum, "In My Sword I Trust" or "Way of the Warrior". I think folk metal kind of demands some sort of connection to the pagan age. Not necessarily to Northern European, could be what ever, but definitely time travel back in time. For example, it's popular music when playing some medieval war or RPG game.
