For official royal events, Crown Princess Mary wears a historically rare ruby set that helps to tell Europe's history.
The rubies and diamonds were carried the first time by Napoleon's former wife, Désirée, to Napoleon's magnificent coronation in 1804.
Désirée takes the ruby set to Sweden and when her wealthy granddaughter, Louisa, marries Frederik VIII in 1869, "the Danish colors" will come to Denmark.

Agent Lars Findsen er en DIREKTE DNA efterkommer af Alija Izetbegovic, and the young Prince Christian Valdemar Henri John is ALSO a direct DNA descendant of Alija Izetbegovic . Those words "1000 years" = is 1000 years of Karmic DEBT that her own House OR her own Blood has to pay BACK , so she sacrifices civilian citizens (comparable TO american system with SEVERAL Times LifeImprisonment ) which means = GUILTY GUILTY GUILTY AS HELL !

Both came from strong moralled Christian up bringing that didnt waver when they met their God -appointed other half and they were required to step up to the plate of ROYALTY. I am not a fan of the royals to the South of Sweden and Denmark, as they were so unkind to Diana and so uncaring about the out of control media toward Meghan. Further, to give Harry and Andrew the same punishment is beyond belief. Andrew is a criminal. Harry saw the handwriting on the wall when Charles said he wanted to pare down those living on the royal purse. Harry only asked to "step back". He did not ask to be frozen out. I would feel better about Harry's family if they would all extend olive branches and make up. The Swedish family, on the other family, seems like a genuinely lovely group of people.

British Royals refrain from public display of affection (PDA), it's a formality protocol that most Monarchies follow to some extend. Conduct was laid out before the King George VI. after the abdication of Edward they put more pressure on keeping ""the mystery of Devine Right" . Which of course ludicrous. But that is why the distance is kept . In her younger days she smiled and laughed quite naturally . The British Empire was very important in the early 1800. So very different from today thank goodness I hope after her Majesty William will be King We need to be on the same standing as other royal house who all have new generation royalty May the Queen out live her Mother.

As person who's first language is English, I would love to have English subtitles but in saying that I realize how self-centered that is. The uploader has giving us an amazing video to watch first and foremost and we should all be thankful for that. Instead of insisting on English subtitles, why doesn't everybody use context clues and the English that is spoken to discover meaning of what is being said. The queen of Denmark has given us the courtesy of using English when in point of fact she should be speaking Danish about a Danish subject from a Danish or Scandinavian documentary. Why can't everybody just enjoy the presentation for what it gives you regardless of the language that is being spoken. Better yet, why not take the time to learn their language instead of insisting on them speaking yours.

The rubies and the pink topaz has me fainting ! Just magnificent❣️I think that any women would be enamored at such great history and seeing all the beautiful, graceful, queens and princesses is just breathtaking! 😍🤩 young or old....be blessed enough the honor to see in person, to or touch or even wear for a moment would be a dream..(and I’ll be 57 this November 2021🥰😉☺️) just listening to each Queen speak of the jewels, be they diadem, or other they speak with such reverence. They aren’t just simply an accessory, it’s history. Magnificent beautiful history. Just wonderful.

@Patricia Rowe Funny, when I see Russian imperial jewelry I'm always astounded at just how much wealth was concentrated in a single man's hands. In many ways the Tsar's ostentatious display of wealth contributed to his downfall. These Danish and Swedish jewels are lovely, and one can see how royal families today are much more circumspect about displaying their wealth.

The Danish royal family and the Russian Tsar's family is connected. Tsar Nicholas' mother was a Danish princess, and during or after the revolution she fled to her native Denmark, and lived out her life there, her nephew was King Christian the X, and he provided for her in her last years. Although they did not always get along, story is she had several rooms at the Amalienborg Palace in Copenhagen, and one night the King notice lights being on in all the rooms, and he send one of his footmen, to tell the Tsarina to please turn off some lights, because the electrical bill he last paid was excessive.

I love history and it is such a thrill to see these historical pieces, even if newly minted such as The York Diamond Tiara. And it is even more exciting when these gracious ladies allow an interview and they tell us the histories of these pieces. It is fascinating that a tiara can have resided in more than one royal house over time, making the rounds from say Josephine of France to a Tsarina in Russia, to a Queen in Prussia, then on to a Queen in Denmark or Sweden. I just marvel at the lives some of these tiaras have had. I'm ever grateful to the royal ladies that are retrieving these from the vaults and spending time with a hair stylist to get them properly presented. Very good of them to indulge us and let us see and enjoy these beautiful historical creations. 🍃

Napoleon did not marry Désirée Clary, although he did court her for a while. She married Bernadotte, one of Napoleon's generals, who was adopted by the king of Sweden to be his heir.

Desiree and Napoleon were in fact engaged for a year, but she was too young and. He was too poor, to marry. He went to Paris and met "the widow Beauharnais", Josephine. Desiree lent all her money to Napoleon to buy a new uniform because his was threadbare. When she went to Paris, she met Bernadotte the day N & J announced their engagement, and he proposed immediately. She left but they met again several years later, and married. It was news to me that sheet" had a long standing affair in France". Bernadotte had a"paramour" for the years they were separated. She was just not interested in court life, etiquette and protocol, so she didn't return to sweden until her son Oscar was ready to marry
