A new Civilization brought to Age Of Empires 4 With the help Of Modding
Link to the mod page in the age of empires website will be in pinned message
in order to play the mod , go to aoe4 mod store and search Scandinavia
and use scandinavia as tuning pack
and then pick rus to play with it
This mod adds the Scandinavians civilization to the game. To play, enable the “Scandinavians” tuning pack and select Rus. Using Rus as Scandinavia is due to modding constraints. A mode can not simply add a civilization as an option in the civilization roster.

Difficulty: 2 stars
The Scandinavians start as Vikings, later giving the option to choose between two different factions, the Kingdom of Sweden or the Danes. Each Kingdom holds nation specific powerful technological or military options, allowing for a high amount of variety as well as giving them possibilities to nearly all strategies.
Strengths:
1. Saga bonuses provide strong military bonuses.
2. Because of faction choice they are able to play all strategies.
3. The Kingdom of Sweden has strong late game gunpowder units.
4. Danes continue to have strong melee infantry after the Viking era has ended.
5. Strong early infantry units because of Vikings.
Weaknesses:
1. Viking units can not be upgraded into later ages
2. Few economy bonuses when not fishing.
3. The Kingdom of Sweden has weak Castle Age units before their economy kicks in.
4. Danes have weak Imperial Age units.
5. Lacks the typical Spearman unit.
Unique Units:
Barracks:
Viking Raider: Fast light infantry that excels at raiding.
Huskarl: Medium melee infantry with lower armor than man at arms but has a higher attack speed. Exclusive to the Danes.
Pikeman: Tough infantry with pikes longer than spears that hard counters cavalry. Exclusive to the Danes.
Archery Range:
Hornbowman: Medium armored ranged infantry with good damage.
Musketeer: The strongest and most advanced gunpowder infantry unit. Exclusive to the Kingdom of Sweden.
Mounted Musketeer: The strongest and most advanced gunpowder cavalry unit. Exclusive to the Kingdom of Sweden.
Stable:

Siege Workshop:
Light Cannon: Powerful fast siege engine effective at killing infantry.
Dock:
Longboat: Strong oared fast war vessel armed with a crew of archers. Can garrison 10 units.
Galleon: Gigantic gunpowder ship mounted with several broadside bombards. Exclusive to the Kingdom of Sweden.
Civilisation Bonuses:
1. Gather 15% faster on shoreline fish.
2. Villagers shoreline fish carry capacity increased by 5.
3. All ships have + 1 ranged and melee armor.
4. All ships benefit from blacksmith armor and damage upgrades.
5. All buildings have + 5 fire armor.
6. All melee infantry units have the Shield Wall ability.
Landmarks:
Feudal Age:
Birka Village: Grants 20 population space upon completion. Spawns with a pond containing 3 regenerating shoreline fish. Gather on these shoreline fish 15% faster.
Hall of Odin: Acts as a barracks, produces units in pairs with a 25% discount.
Castle Age:
Uppsala University: If you build this landmark, you become the Kingdom of Sweden. Contains all economy upgrades. All upgrades in this landmark are 50% cheaper and research 33% faster. Allows you to pick one more saga bonus.
Vordingborg Castle: If you build this landmark, you become the Danes. Acts as a keep. All units within 6 tiles of this landmark deal + 20% damage.
Imperial Age:
Vira Bruk: Can only be built by the Kingdom of Sweden. Acts as a university and a blacksmith combined. Contains two unique gunpowder technologies. All upgrades in this landmark research 20% faster.
Bastion Fort: Acts as a keep. Creates a bastion fort network. All keeps within the network have the ability to sunder enemy units reducing their melee armor to 0 for 15 seconds.
Roskilde Cathedral: Can only be built by the Danes. Acts as a Wooden Stave Church. Can create up to 3 relics.
Saga:
Dark Age:
Trained Eyes: Increases the sight range of all military units except scouts by 7 tiles.
Feudal Age:
Bloodaxe: Increases the damage of all melee infantry units by 2.
Hunted Meat: Increases villager food gather rate by 5% per bounty tier.
Castle Age:
Lamellar Armor: Increases the health of all cavalry units by 20%.
Trading Mastery: Increases the movement speed of traders by 10%.
Goat Horns: Increases the range of Hornbowmen by 1 tile.
Imperial Age:
Swift Footed: Increases the movement speed of all infantry units by 10%.
Masonry: All military buildings are 50% cheaper and get built 50% faster.
Architecture: Increases your maximum population by 10 by allowing you to build a unique architecture house.
Field Works: All infantry build siege on the field 150% faster.
