I unboxed it and sat it on my table afraid to mess with it, but seeing this video and your excitment has got me feeling all excited as well to jump right in and get my scanncut a go at it. Wow, I just love your enthusiasm with the scanncut. I feel like a baby getting a brand toy to play with. I bought my scanncut because I have arthritis and I need help in cutting my projects and patterns. I feel this machine will help me tremendously. Do you know any way to safely remove some of the stickness from the Brother Scan n Cut SDX Standard Mat : CADXMAT STD 12? We love the way the machine works, but the mat is so sticky the left over paper sticks to the mat ver tightly and it takes a half hour or more to get the mat clean enough to use again,. I would like to know how to make the mat less sticky without ruining it. Thank you. Our Brother Scan n Cut is the SDX 125e. We just got it at Christmas 2020.

thanks for this video..i bought a new sdx1000 last week but was afraid to use it as i didnt know how to adjust the blade settings. (i was afraid of cutting my mat..now i know that the auto blade automatically adjusts it. also my machine did not come with the pen holder :(..it just had the auto blade.

Hello! I am having problems with my Brother ScanNcut DX 125, it has a month of little use, when I load the mat it loads it crookedly and I have to force it later to remove it and try again so that it enters right, will you know why that is? Thank you

I feel exactly the same way....not wanting scratches on new items so I think it's really nice that they folded over the tape ends. But I would like to see how you scan your personal designs in and cut those. And is there a site that has more "grown up" designs?..not into the "kindergarten" look.

Just completed the test project which is super easy. Not so successfully drew and cut a bee. The drawing was fine, but the cutting awful, as instead of cutting it as one piece, it was cut in loads of small pieces for assembly later. I wanted the whole image, not a construction job! Anyone got the answer, please. Feeling elated and frustrated.

The mat that came with my brother does not have any sticky on it. When I did the first project it felt great but in less than a month boom no sticky wow, I have a ton of mats from amazon no name mats that are way sticky how do I get them to work with my brother? I have been taping my stuff down on the mat on all corners. I went to the brother site but I guess you need to pay extra to ask a question. Yup and I don't mean like one question pay 10 dollars, nope you have to sign up for a monthly charge to ask A question. Shitty customer service so far brother so disappointed I used to think highly of Brother when I was a logistics coordinator with Skyway freight systems and had a project with brother as a vendor.

I am very dissatisfied with the Brother Scan N Cut machine and its accessories. Had I made the effort to research consumer reviews before I purchased my machine, I would NOT have purchased the machine in the first place. As, every review I read did not have positive comments to share. I can't say that I was surprised. For starters, I was not aware that it will not cut out rubber stamps that do not have a solid line around the circumference of the stamp. That is the only reason why I purchased the product. Secondly, I was coerced into purchasing the Enhanced Image Tracing Card by one of Brother's 'Help Center' Associates which ended-up NOT working for me since the machine will not cut my rubber stamps out in the manner in which I need for it to. I called the company was told that "since I did not purchase the card from them, they cannot refund or credit me." How ironic is it that they would penalize me for not purchasing the card from them when they do not sell the card in the first place. I no longer wonder 'why' Brother does not have more retail stores selling their products. Their customer service and product policies fall within the SHAM-RUN boundaries. PLEASE reconsider any purchases of this companies products, especially if you are planning to use the machine to scan and cut your rubber stamps. I learned the hard way!
