ScanRig v1 Promo

Promo video of photogrammetry rig and overview of its capabilities and functions.
Through three years of precise design and research, I've engineered a solution that offers speed, reliability, silent operation and ease of use.
In full 3D scanning mode, the rig rotates the subject in predefined number of horizontal steps, repeating the same action upon moving the camera upwards. Capable of carrying the full size DSLR camera and lens it takes equally spaced photographs from the same distance resulting in clean and concise 3D scans each time.
Python scripting enable automatic processing of acquired images, precise measuring and aligning the model while minimizing the need for manual processing and cleanup.
In addition to existing features, I've added two new modes aimed at enhancing your experience. The first mode is tailored to capture flat surface subjects like cloth with precision, ensuring optimal results. The second mode focuses on capturing materials directly from the subject, providing versatility and accuracy in your scans. With these new additions, the platform offers unparalleled flexibility and capability, empowering you to capture a diverse range of subjects with ease and precision.

@@revolutionscanI’m looking to place an order for some Aluminum Extrusion and want to get a jump on this project too. What profile and length is most common here? It looks close to a Cube in shape, but I’m sure it’s not a perfect cube. Thanks!

I am wondering which camera is better for photogrammetry and radiance field technology, DSLR or mirrorless camera? Kind regards

photogrammetry itself doesn’t care one bit, the sharpest the image the better the higher the resolution, the better. a d850 would be better than a z5, but worse (probably) than a z9. get the best your budget can afford, it’s all about the money. of course there are lot of factors to consider but this is a simplified answer
