What free tools can I use for a laptop? I mean in my opinion a phone is great for mobility but the work process after a scan makes a mobile phones limiting. I would rather have raw scan data in the phone and then an automatic way to move it to a laptop.

The app description says no special hardware required. But the Play store does not allow me to download it saying, "This phone isn't compatible with this app". I'm using a Samsung Galaxy A23.

Might be software related not hardware because I've been trying it on all of my phones and I have an a23, a Sony Xperia Z1 compact and a note9 all work fine. Make sure your phone is updated and if you have any issues you might have to get your phone looked up oand or submit a bug report. Could be that your phone has one very specific setting on that is causing the issue that has been overlooked by Devs that they can patch in an update

Scaniverse runs offline so when I go to sites with no internet I can locally create nerfs and generate 3D models using normal photogrammetry.

Can you do face capture for making 3d people? What kind of texture map does it put out? Qlone scans well but their texture unwraps as a mess that isn't compatible with any 3d software I've seen.

This isn't worth using unless you have a phone with a depth sensor. Results from Android phones without it will look awful.
