Allen-Bradley's had retentive timers since the 80s. In the SLC-100 line, it was the ONLY kind of timer you could have!

The best way to start is to firstly take a training course to ensure you are building a correct foundation to work from.

Hi sir, Could you do a video where we receive analog inputs from the factory floor eg: RTD signals, Thermocouple inputs . and can you make a video of how it is communicated with the PLC/ SCADA via a Modbus or a Profibus network. Hi Andy, I know in STEP7 Professional, you could do this with STL by changing the view of the Programming Language, I would need to take another look at TIA Portal to see if that feature is available or if there is a stand alone converter.
