Most of it's that most only do invited teams over random matches. Everytime we do 5v5 with 5 irl on our end we always get 5 real enemy players

How do division points work? How exactly do you rank up divisions?

This explains alot how certain mechs are favorites in the end game, I knew people like the panther but was not really seeing why in comparison to some of the beefier tankier mechs like ares and juggernaut, but the shield making bots waste ammo is brilliant, also dunno if it would count as good advice or not, but i have found with my pulse cannon 8's if i stagger fire (fire one till almost to auto reload) then fire both and let it auto run afterwards, that you can keep mechs stayin in cover pretty much indefinitely, if you poke something even across the map it will try to hide, and it will come out once you start reloading, so having one gun near empty and reloading while the other is full and firing, you can kinda force them to stay in position while you walk around to get into a better firing angle, I use it with ares so I can have his shield protecting me while i move around.

The most annoying part about the AI is that they could be in a battle with another AI, but when they see a player they drop everything they are currently doing and focus solely on the player, only stopping when enemies cannot see you anymore, whther through the red box or direct line of sight

My favorite is when my entire team mag dumps an enemy Panther barrier, then they all get wiped out. Like, thanks guys.

you can use that to your advantage in 5v5 one thing I love about panther barrier is that I can use it in 5v5 to redirect the enemies attention to shoot at me and waste few potential kills while my team shoot them down ... very effective to make the other team score less kills.

Beautiful. Well done. Great info! The footage went perfectly with your tips and strategies, once again. Will definitely be sharing this around, especially for those who go from easy matches and hit around division 4 or hangar power 900-1000 and go automatically get thrown into the deep end of the pool against much tougher bots and hangars! Pixonic used to feature videos like these from youtubers in the actual game, under a media button in the HUD. They need to do the same thing in mech arena with videos like yours!

Also, I like to use the command icons to order my random bot teammates auto attack enemy targets, or help me if I need healing. I almost swear that the friendly a.i. Obey the commands when you send them. Either way, I still do it in regular and tourney matches!

One more thing to playing peek-a-boo:some players love standing motionless, pretending to be unaware sitting ducks. As soon as you fire at them, especially if they already saw you using missile rack, they drop to lower ground and return fire. Very effective tactic.

@@Sphynx93rkn find a nice high ground with some cover to duck behind, try to lead your target very little bit cause even with auto aim its not perfect shot every time. also not much auto aim compared to rapid fire weapons and stuff. make sure to try keeping atleast 60-80 meters from whatever your target is, longarm damage dropoff at close range is HORRIBLE.

Some mechs have some counters - killshot can dash from javs when they are airborne, panther can step into his barrier, juggy can take it with his shield, Ares can too if he looks up, lancer can dodge with a well placed jump, etc. Still, it requires timing and awareness and sometimes in the thick of battle you cant get around them so I hear ya man.

Most of the time I pull back and wait for my ability and weapons to be ready. Sometimes I get 3 mechs spawning in the very same spot and ready to terminate me. It's really annoying, but we have to get used to it.

Here's another tipp, if you see a death like scape said they will Immediately pop up and kill you so I think when the enemy dies I think your best choice is shadow and javelin

Hi there are sometimes when I am not able to spot/mark the enemy mech with rocket mortar, I mean they are hidden. I am not able to target them with the same rocket mortar, while they can spot me in the same place and destroy. Please enlighten

Yes. We are aware. 183k exp here. Invisible mortar bots. Thats the menace at this level. You cant kill them. They don’t show up in your target. Not even everybody with mortars can kill them. They are 100% invisible. This game is rigged.

AND after any match, you can check your recommended section in friends. if the names don't show (or they arent already your friend) anyone in the match not listed is an AI. So you can slowly get a pretty standard list.

Same thing happens to me Me and my friend play everyday on tunnel of fate (Custom Match) That time everytime I start with my panther with missile rack 6 The enemy are in a panther with a thermal lance 6 and fire at me until get on some elevation., it take about 1000 - 2000 health from my mech so nw I go from the sides as they can't hit me with thermal lances

I guess I'm stupid or the AI got smarter, because I use these tips and I get shots from nowhere, get swarmed in a 1v5 way, get killed from an already dead bot, no matter how many times I hit it from the side or the back, it takes NO DAMAGE AT ALL! And at tournaments of course, when a bot scores, it us multiplied. I got shot down and the enemy team got 6 (!) points, while all my teammates were alive.... this is ridiculous

There are many bots in this game. Since the player base is still relatively small they fill in the gaps. You can tell if it was AI because only real players will be suggested to you as a friend after each match. You can go check after a match to see who if any where real players. And it’s pretty common still for you to be the only live player on both teams. Here is a list of AI names that a player accumulated…there are almost 500. AI bots means these are just mechs run by the computer - not a real player. Most games use these in pvp style games to fill slots. Since Mech Arena is still in beta form, they still have a good degree of AI bots in most games.
