I love those videos. You guys go really far into topics and provide way more information than the usual "retract your shoulders" bs. Thank you for that!

Man you guys have really been a lifesaver. For the last few months I've been focusing on my shoulder health and keeping my rib cage down and the results have been amazing. The nagging joint pains are finally going away and I'm getting stronger by the day!

I have been looking for scapular functioning vidoes this entire time. There have been a couple of informative ones but your videos by far have been the best yet. I’ve been doing many of my upper body exercises wrong and now I can finally feel the proper muscles firing. Thank you for this, much appreciated.

Terrific video! Something I figured out a long time ago after having ‘pinch shoulder blades down and back’ drilled into my novice skull and developing all sorts of shoulder pain! Now I focus instead on neutral spine and IAP and my shoulders take care of themselves!

I have been searching for quite a while on effective ways to return upwards mobility to my shoulder due to scapula tightness short of consulting a osteopath.... been training for 30 years and wear and tear have caught up... nice video thanks

Usually it is recommended to set up on the bench with scapulae maximally retracted and depressed, and what I gathered from this video, that is the suboptimal setup. What would you propose then regarding the bench setup?

If I train my back should I also make thoracic extension when doing back exercises?

Very helpful video gentlemen. How would you rehab a scapula injury which caused the long head of the tricep to feel mushy while the pinkie on that arm was numb? Thanks in advance.

I'd love to see a video on T-spine movement (all three planes of motion - sagittal, frontal, transverse) and how it helps/hinders scapular movement.

If we are benching, in the start we have to lock and then when pressing the scapula should move ?? This is right ??

Thanks for the video, but pretty much everyone suggests retraction and depression on the bench press, for example, see kzbin.info/www/bejne/l5q0pJiIgc2nn7s Can you please explain why *not* to do it?
@_.dace._2 жыл бұрын
you maintain depression but move in and out of retraction
