I love how threatening Skar King was introduced, and then in the final fight, he was a sitting duck whose only feat in the entire fight was Kicking Kong to Shimo.

I think Skar King called in Shimo before it got ugly for him. We see Kong is a clever and tough fighter in this film, so I expect he would have figured out a way to counter Skar King's whip.

Kong is strong and has high defense but lacks agility and great speed, which his rival does have, in addition to having greater skill and mastery in fast weapons that cause greater damage. But he is physically weak and possesses little defense.

@darkskinkeishai don't know. Kong could dodge a serious Godzilla blast just by fast walking. But Scar King needed to jump and run away from it and it almost hit him. Kong didn't even get hit. Scar King had good reflexes and skills, not insane speed

I think 75 percent skar kings dominance is his psychological games and intimidation. The way he looks at them with that mean side eye. Obviously he’s a tyrant but he definitely relies on his presence and aura to do the fighting for him that’s why he was defeated rather easily in the end

Scar was such a weak antagonist, he only "dominated" because of Shimo, it if wasn't for her, Kong would've ended the movie in the first battle. They need to bring a monster that can actually threaten both Godzilla and Kong, not a weak one that can barely handle one of them.
