Leslie I know scar was lying about blaming the hyena's, but I don't think the hyenas. We're just trying to be sensitive here, but they thought he was telling the truth comment because of all the abused they had suffered from lines in the past, now they viewed. Scar as doing the same thing.

It's clear that Scar never saw the hyenas as allies, but more as tools who he was use until they had outlived their usefulness. Not to mention that he underestimated their intellect, as as dumb as they seem, they are still aware of anyone who would betray them for any reason and certainly wouldn't take it lightly if they are thrown under the bus. But in all honesty, Scar was destine to fail from the start. A king has to deal with many responsibilities, and as smart Scar was, responsibilities were the least of his concerns, and he only saw the need to be powerful amongst everything else. His Be Prepared song pretty much sums up to how he really feels what being a king is about. There's no way someone as arrogant and pompous as Scar would ever be fit to take over the title as king with that mindset.

If the venom from the cobra haven't twisted his mind too greatly during and after his time as leader of the Lion Guard, Scar would of been successful completely.

And in another momment, what if he killed Simba himself. From the outset there was no other animal around after Scar found him grieving his father. Timone and Pumba might have ended up as lion food, but the jury's out on everything else!

If Scar killed Simba then the lionesses would have smelled Simba's scent on his paws and probably cause a lot of furore, unless he was to throw Simba off a cliff or something

Which death was more gruesome Hyenas killing and eating Scar or Majin Buu killing Badaddi ? For me it's the latter as Buu killed him in a rather slow and painful way

Personally, I do think that scar abouthe subject. That gate helped him get the throne.
