I spent my teenage years growing up in this part of Scarborough, when the South Bay swimming pool and Holbeck Hall hotel were still open. I took the scenic beauty for granted and it is only in my twilight years that I now recognise how lucky I was. You picked a great day for your walk, the Winter colours are just fantastic. Thank you for this trip down memory lane.
