Scared! At Whistler with Nick McNutt, and Craig Murray

Flat light made it pretty tricky to see and it had been a little while since Id been in the steeps, especially with firm snow and skiing around exposure. But Rolling into Whistler with Nick and Craig, we got right back into it! While I was repeatedly scared, it felt good to get into that place of uncomfortably and push through. The light was pretty bad all day, but we made the best of it and got into some really fun terrain and even found some powder stashed away in the nooks and cranny's of the mountain.

My favorite ski videos. So real. I liked how you show some falls in this series. Even you immortals occasionally fall. I can't imagine the skill it takes to ski these conditions and this terrain in flat light. Bravo!

Sage you've got the absolute best skiing videos on the planet. It would be cool to hear what sticks people ride on. Just a thought haha. I was searching for what skis Apoll rides and thought of it. Was just curious what they ride in Utah powder I guess. Anyway, keep doing what you do man. You're a legend!

Even McNutt in this vid. Ive been trying to figure out what he is riding. They look like my Reckoner 124s but it isn't Reckoner 124 snow conditions so I also don't think so 😂

@sagePerspective appreciate the reply man. I sincerely think that you have the best video concept that could exist for skiing. The follow behind videos are the absolute best. I may be bias because I absolutely love following people who are good skiers. It's fun to see their line selection and other little things they do that maybe I just hadn't thought of or whatever. The gear thing was something I kept catching myself wondering about so I thought I'd toss it out there. Also, if you can't get out to ride with a pro you should have a friend just follow you to put out more content. You're a dope skier too and I've gone through all of the ski vids. THE AUDIENCE WANTS MORE SAGE! 😂 Keep up the great work and if you're ever in WA let's take a lap man!

I just got back from Colorado and the flat and hard pack was SO bad I don't know how and the hell he rails thru that with such ease in the steeps... I felt every hit people just don't know what its like until they been there its mind blowing and just amazing talent in that kind of light and conditions ripping it like that.. Definitely a hot tub day after that one huh...

Is It possible to turn down the exposure so we can see the terrain a bit better? These raw videos are sweet, they are a great accompaniment to meal time. much love Sage! 🫡
@sagePerspective
@sagePerspective 16 күн бұрын
The light was really bad and I did my best to adjust the color correction/ exposure to each clip to try and bring out the terrain, that’s why it changes throughout… with that bad of light it was pretty tricky to get much to show up. But I thought it was still compelling enough to put out the episode despite the bad light.
