A great rule of thumb with any used 911 is "buy the seller" and Nathan is the ideal kind of seller to buy from. Great video.

I had a 95 C2 and a 96 C4S at the same time in 2002. Great cars. My C4S had 120K Miles on it when i bought it..one owner, a woman who was a Dr. in Scottsdale AZ., fully papered, serviced where she bought it in Scottsdale. No problems if taken care of, fully serviced and never tracked.

The 911 is generally a very reliable car. Specifically, the non-turbo variants. However, a Porsche with mileage is going to need service. Buy the buyer. It's like picking a mate. Know its history and where he/she has been.

Not sure why people get so caught up in driving and putting mileage on desirable 911s. They are meant to be driven and not sitting around collecting dust. To each their own. Just drive.

This car seems to have brought a crazy amount of money with 6-owners, 145k miles, and paintwork. I sold a 1995 Carrera 4 Coupe in Polar Silver on BAT at the beginning of the year and it only brought $90k …….1-owner, no paintwork, and 52k miles. I guess that’s just the way it goes but I’m having a hard time understanding why there was only a $13k delta between the 2 cars 🤔

Should buyers be concerned with the number of owners? This specific car has had 6 owner's.
@Rennthusiast11 ай бұрын
Some are concerned by that, some aren’t. For me, if I were looking at a car like this, I would buy on condition given that it’s a driver, not a collectible. If I were looking at something that was more minty and newer, it might concern me a bit not because the number of owners would necessarily indicate there’s something wrong with it but when I go to sell I will have that question asked of me and would perhaps miss out on buyers bc of it.

At 145K sounds like low milage to me, but to each his own. I have 177K on my 993 Turbo. The bay area is very mild weather for cars. (virtually) No snow, no salt.
@robertcrocker9018 ай бұрын
Agree. It's 2024! I would consider 145K low milage. Any car with lower than 145K was a garage queen sitting for years in a garage. I bought my 1996 993 in 2007 with 94K miles, now has 195K. Love it. Has the immobilizer--maybe I'm just used to it but no problem for me.
