I discovered Scarface, MTV vidoes and Rap music all at once in the 80s. In my ears/soul, there is NO better rapper than Scarface... And now that I study metaphysics and the occult, I can NOW innerstand better WHY I was so drawn to HIS lyrics and his videos... He's a MASTER musical alchemist 4 sure, turning all his pain into solid black gold! “Mary Mary Jane ” is the original song that Ashanti samples and does an interpolation of. Rick James song was called “Mary Jane” it’s pretty much the same premise but different song and sounds different.
