I'm running a similar list but with GabuBond and a BT15 Melga. It felt GREAT until I couldn't find my Lobomons, which makes me want to try and fit in 1 or 2 more lvl.4's. Also got locked out hard by a Demon Lord player that was running 4 Emperors 😅

Do you prefer the memory of the BT6 Gabu over the draw of the BT17 Gabu? I was thinking of exchanging it since most decks run memory tamers anyway and the condition to trigger the draw seems easy enough in this deck

The bt6 gabu were placeholders for me so i figured I would just test them, ive traded them for the bt17 and havent missed them since

In what situations would you use the paladin mode aces? Just for the ace effect on top of ancients that stick from lament?

it helps against control decks like demon lords or great angels, it also can reset our eggs if we had to use them early in the game for searching instead of the combos

What do you think about red base vs blue? Who will get the most tops?

the blue base with strabi is good, I just think its outclassed by the consistency and breadth of options that the red base gets to run, if you really wanted to use a blue base I would use the gabumon bottom end from the video since its faster and has more combo potential than the other two, the down side too it is that its more one note in what it can actually answer compared to the red base.

I've been testing a similar deck profile! Glad you did well with it! Any thoughts on the omnimon ace variant of the deck? using the new bt17 matt/tai and omnimon option?

This deck seems really cool! I'm curious...i'm not sure where i went wrong and i've watched the profile a few times but when i was writing it down so i could go search my stack to see what i have, i've counted 49 cards...not sure which one i'm missing lol. You said you run 3 lament's sometimes but showed 2, so i wonder if that was what the missing one is? EDIT: Haha i'm dumb, i missed an x antibody.

lol youre fine, I think when I mentioned 3 laments I was considering running an extra one because of how impressed I was with the card as a combo piece for the deck.

@@marshmallowruffian8259 that makes sense! I'm itching to try this. A friend at my lgs was wondering why this vs the red base but I was so new I didn't know how to answer lol. Is this one more consistent or just more fun than the red base version?

@@xTatsudoshix so red base is more like an aggro deck with they way it tries to use its rookies to get poke and draw in, while using their koji to interact with the board and do two checks with their AnGa's passing turn after they do an AnGa play. The gabumon list is more of a combo deck, where we play a lot of consistency cards and combo pieces that let us do some crazy stuff, like being able to proc our AnGa without passing turn, or getting three ancient garurumon effects in a single turn Against more traditional AnGa lists like the red base we're favored since our board is usualy gone a the end of our turn so they wont have anything to bounce and will need at least 4 memory to be able to proc their AnGa effect, where as we would only need 3, we can also make use of powerful memory options like trainings where they cant so for most turns in order to make an AnGa and proc its effect we only need 1 memory.

@@marshmallowruffian8259 oooh that makes a lot of sense! Thank you so much for explaining the difference and what they excel at. I think the idea of a combo like this sounds more fun to play. I ended up pulling an alt art AnGar tonight so i think i'm gonna play this combo version :)

I'm so sad the list never fully came before the ban and restricted list came out today. Curse you TCG player for being so slow!! What uh... Do you think now that the list can only run 1 lui and 1 spark? Does that make it too inconsistent and slow?

its hard to justify even if the card is a house, I've tried to make the deck as consistent in finding its pieces as possible, there is space to take out the blue memory's and add the emperors instead, Im just scared of not finding lobomon
