When I played for the first time, I remembered that you needed to go inside Aurora at some point. And since there were no visible entrances(It didn't explode at that time), I went to the back of Aurora(turbines). After several minutes, I guessed that there were no entrances. So there's the thing, I turn back and see that the Reaper, like a fucking dolphin, is flying in my face out of water. I didn't know that there were reapers in the crash zone...

When I just started playing subnautica and didn't know anything about it, I went to the back of aurora thinking this is the entrance. Oh how wrong I was. Ended up so scared I dropped a beacon and named it "Do Not Go There" just to avoid this area better.

earlier today I was trying to lure a reaper to the shallows (in a desperate attempt to un-beach my cyclops). i had previously lured him to some grassy plateaus some few hundred meters from where i needed him to be. he would not fucking aggro onto me. he was too busy with stalkers and sand sharks and he kept clipping out of the map.

There’s actually tons of useful things over there if one is brave enough to get them. Supply crates, mineral deposits for basic base building. The worst danger, funnily enough, is not the Reapers. It’s the lack of food and water. If you don’t prepare well long beforehand, you could run out of supplies and be forced to make a mad dash for home. Then the Reapers will be sure to spot you. Imagine if you had to do this at night! They can still “see” you, but you won’t see them until it’s far too late.

Se que nadie leerá esto. Pero justo hoy estaba jugando Subnautica, y estaba prácticamente en tu misma situación, detrás del Aurora tratando de entrar porque no sabía por donde era, con la diferencia de que solo tenía el Deslizador ya que soy nuevo. Mi reacción al ver a un pez enorme por primera no tiene precio. No soy tonto así que obviamente traté de evadirlo y seguir buscando la entrada. GRAVE ERROR. No pasó mucho para que encontrara otros 2; ellos me encontraron a mí, mejor dicho. Escuché un rugído que me hizo apretar las nalgas y apenas voltié tenía un leviatán decidido a comerme y tenía otro nadando por debajo, para colmo estaba a 1,5km de mi cápsula y el deslizador tenía 13% de carga, sabía que la había cagado en grande al haber ido sin siquiera haber construido el Seamoth. Ni siquiera Outlast me había hecho sentir tanto pánico. Luego de casi orinarme en los pantalones logré llegar a mi cápsula nadando ya que me había quedado sin batería. Fue a una auténtica hazaña haber escapado de 3 Reaper Leviatans estando yo metido en la blca del lobo.

Stalkers and Reapers have both done this to me. I lost 4 seamoths to Reapers. 2 got crushed and 2 are stuck in the air.. I'm on number 6 now. The 5th seamoth imploded.

Im like 85% brave and 15% stupid. Idk why but I don't have a fear of the ocean. In real life, I would NOT do this but put on some nice music while playing the game and I just forget about the reapers. Its a funny thing because if I have a fear, its looking at the sky. Something about that huge moon terrifies me in the game so I find myself deep underwater. I guess its a case of choosing a lesser of two evils.

Heres a tip if you have the grappler and the drill on the prawn suit you can grapple onto a leviathin and them drill them and they cant attack you as long as you not to close to the mouth this is how I killed a ghost leviathin
