Bodyboarding went absolutely haywire in the late 80s. Ask anyone who was there. The novelty of surfing got unleashed on the under-skilled land lubber. It was affordable and durable, made you “cool” because the basic “maneuvers” were easier than pushing off the bottom to catch a wave. Today, bodyboarding is gnarly, especially heavy slab and wedge guys.

A couple of those surf skate turns were actually pretty sweet. I legitimately surf shred with my sector 9s down full gnar level downtown downhill death street bombs 💪7th&main downtown juneau💯I just realized I am a true to the core, core lord surf skater i can challenge anybody and prove it.
