I Scarified my Lawn with my Wen Scarifier | Tons of thatch gets pulled up

I kept mine at 0 and it pulled out a bunch of dead grass , the only thing the grass looked like crap for about 2-3 weeks afterwards, I think it recovered faster last spring.

Pro tip - Use your lawn mower with a bag attached to pick up the thatch.

When the best time to use. Different adjustment so how deep and why that deep. follow up . Do you over seed ,water or wait a couple days before next cut.

I have a question I have a choice between the Wen or the Sun Joe there both priced at 160 but the Wen is 15 amp compared to the 13 amp Sun Joe this is my first Dethatcher your feed back is greatly appreciated thank you

I personally would recommend the Wen dethatcher just because I’ve had it for a while and I know it hasn’t caused me any problems but I’m sure the Sun Joe would be the same! I appreciate your feedback
