Alice's Skill 1 is unique and weird, it deducts a fixed number of 0.175sec from a teammate's charge time, which is Negligible on most characters, but a wooping 50% buff for sober Scarlet's 0.35sec short charge time. Teamed with Alice, sober Scarlet can slash up to 17 times in burst instead of the regular 14 times. I see them as official couple now.

This seemed very interesting, so I checked the skill description, but it doesn't mention a fixed number? It just says the normal charge speed increase, am I missing something here?

@@faxer999 the in-game description is crappy af in this case probably due to poor translation. The CN version states that it "boosts charge speed *based on Alice's charge speed* ", which is still bad wording. What it really says is " *reduce charge time based on Alice's base charge time* " which is *(11.67% at level10) X (1.5sec base charge time) = 0.175sec* . This has been a big mystery among Nikke Communities until Redhood and sober Scarlet provide enough evidence to prove it.

@@faxer999 "caster's charge speed" which translates to 11.67% of the 1.5 second charge time of Alice deducted to affected allies. this was proven by Red Hood due to the damage increase mechanic on her charge speed. It was increasing by that amount instead of something else

I tried to pull for Scarlet: Black Shadow but got Rapunzel and 2 other off-banner SSRs in 140 pulls. Then I got the SSR selector and used my Golden Mileage Tickets to pity Modernia since I don't have her yet. I hope I didn't make a mistake... At least we still have 12 days left, so I'll try to dump whatever's left into her banner again.

I wouldn't compare her to RH that much, because even tho both of them have beautiful dps, RH is an assassin for strong enemies and bosses, while Jetstream Sam also clears trash mobs like 2B, but better, because she does it more frequently than once per 2 bursts

I'm honestly kind of puzzled at people treating RH as just DPS. Am I crazy or is her team-wide attack buff her biggest perk? Sure it can't be spammed indefinitely, but I find fights that last more than 2 cycles of burst are like 1% of the fights I do.

@@zeriel9148 her B3 is like SW and rapist, but continues. The core is the pierce, which can deal more damage to bosses and also come in handy against stronger enemies in the campaign, while also being a monster in the arena ignoring the barriers

@@sandsundertail6936 Yeah I get how her skills work, I'm just surprised more people don't use her for short fights for the buff, since as far as I'm aware it stacks? Basically doubling the amount of +atk a unit like Scarlet gets from her selfish burst. Although I guess that gets into the question of whether you want to use RH's 2/3 burst too. But as someone who just got her at 0 star and didn't invest heavily into her, I find her atk buff super nice to buff up other characters.

@@zeriel9148 it's just the comfort of having your B1 at 20s cooldown and going for 1-1-3, because B3s are usually more broken and you can't have RH as your only B1, because of defence missions, but you can still use her as B1 if you don't have Doro on pilgrim tower and for fun you can still use her in B1 to boost your favorite comp, because she's just a better Liter, but using her for her B3 is just more eficient

Being a wind code is the cream on top of everything else. BS Scar hits very hard even at lower investments and can keep up with the top dps picks. This Solo Raid being weak to wind everyone will be using her 😂😂😂

This is honestly such a good video. I've been playing nikke with no handholding and just pulling for characters I like and accidentally breaking through the 160 wall (my units are level 192 as of now). Yeah dude, you’re good to go with those 2 units. As soon as you get their best skills up to 6 or 7, you’ll breeze through most content. My current wall is Nihilister, but I suspect leveling up Scarbs a bit will change that.

just pick the one you like you literally cannot go wrong with any of the two. though Modernia does make campaign so damn easy aoe and single target dps in one. Scarbs aoe can be inconsistent but her boss killing capability is second to none.

@@keeysOST yeah early game is pretty much an easy sweep for Modernia and SBS they gonna massacre every rapture in their way. Its by later stages that difficulty will begin to ramp up with the famous spikes being Nihilister end boss of stage 20 and Mother Whale end boss of stage 21.
