Great set, not only because of the nostalgia, also great artworks and it really stands out, comparing to other sets. Some other sets are too comparable with earlier sets, if you ask me. The paldean fates is an example I think... Nice video 👍🏻

After I had great luck with 151 at first, at some point I had 3 ETBs in a row with no hits (well, one had an Arbok ex) - that's when I stopped opening 151. Picked up a few singles for the binder. Still buying sealed though! Congrats on 8k man =)

I am at this point thinking if I should just buy singles to finish the set off! Opened 72 packs and got 4 sar all expect venusaur and the trainers, 5 ir and 4 ur. The packs are fun to open but think I may have rode my luck with what I've pulled so far 😅

I recently opened a 151 upc and was very sad about the hits. All the way up to the final two packs, my only hit was a wigglytuff ex. I was ready to write it off as the worst UPC I ever opened when in the 15th pack I hit a charizard SAR and then in the 16th pack I had an ex ninetales and a SAR tangela. Funny how 151 can be so brutal and so generous at the same time

And I agree, it's arguably the only set you can open right now where you actually have a fairly good chance of making back your money. I just love this set and the artworks. It's the first one that Im collecting a master set for... I'm only missing 5 reverses. I have two Charizard, two blasty's (thanks to you), two venosaurs, two squirrels, two SIR Erica's.... Definitely going to get some graded as well. Also working on collecting more Japanese 151 right now as well. That's how obsessed I am with this set!

Love how the graphs are all random compared to one another, makes this set impossible to predict and thus always interesting. Filled in the gaps we had with japanese cards but now thinking i want all the SARs in Japanese because of the texture... oh 151 you're so good.

Zapdos. That inverse head and shoulders.. i see so many bullish charts esp the full art charizard at 30 bucks not the hundo one My kid has pulled me badically everything out of (14) 151 tins. Insane luck and value. Love these minitins

I've purchased most of these (Japanese versions). Just IMO, the best cards based on art are the Squirtle and the Dragonair. Otherwise the master ball holos are my favorites...lots of bids on Ebay for these as well.

I’m frustrated with single prices lol… I broke down and managed to snag some crazy deals on Japanese cards, I got the first and 2nd stage evolutions of all the starters for $60! So $10/pop basically, I’m very happy with those prices but the final stage evos, Zard, blasts and saur are hella holding value! I couldn’t pay those prices!

I've had the absolute worst luck with this set over any other set. I can open ten packs straight and get absolutely nothing. For example I just opened 13 packs and all i got was a kangaskhan ex full art. I also got a zapdos ex but this is the 5th one i've pulled so i could care less lol...

I'm not so sure about this set. Obviously it will drop some, but I think this one could potentially last a bit better than others before it. 4 months after Crown Zenith, there had already been BIG drops in lots of the singles.

Only newbs like Scarlet and Violet, the new Gen pokemon in SV are hideous monstrosities. Just my opinion but I know most OGs feel the same way

Even if that's true, which I personally don't think it is - this is a good thing. Pokemon needs to evolve so that it meets younger generations so they can grow up with their 'mons too!
